Free Trade Agreement
AmCham Bahrain was established in 2004, soon after the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Bahrain and the United States, making Bahrain the first country in the GCC to enter into such an agreement. The FTA has opened doors for businesses from both countries to explore new markets, enhance competitiveness, and strengthen economic ties. By leveraging the FTA, companies have gained a competitive edge, benefiting from preferential tariffs and improved market access. |
